El segunda base de la Candelaria participó en el primer encuentro de pretemporada como titular de los Bravos de Atlanta, quienes cayeron 4 por 2 ante los Mets.


Prado hizo una de las dos anotaciones de los Bravos. En total se fue de 3-1. Su actuación fue digna de elogios por parte del comentarista de ESPN Fernando Álvarez, a través de su Twitter, quien predijo será el titular en esa posición.


Su compatriota Omar Infante (3B) también produjo 1 hit en 3 ocasiones, con dos ponches. El venezolano Luis Hernández (2B) se fue de 2-0.


Por los Mets jugó Jason Pridie, conectó de 3 1 con anotada e impulsada. Pridie fue importado de los Tigres esta temporada. Toda su carrera había jugado con Minnesota.
