Pareciera imposible escribir algo negativo sobre Martín Prado esta temporada de Grandes Ligas.  Cada semana el segunda base de Maracay nos da una nueva alegría por su progreso como pelotero.
En el día viernes, en juego realizado en la ciudad de Miami, el tigrero conectó un cuadrangular de 455 pies al lanzador Alex Sanabia. Lo curioso del batazo, además de la distancia, es que emuló en distancia a Andrés Galarraga, quien conectó uno de sus más largos 399 jonrones  en el estadio de los Marlins, jugando con los Bravos.
Martín alcanzó los 12 jonrones en la jornada y su promedio al bate es de .320
Prado utiliza con Atlanta el número 14, el mismo del “Gato” en el equipo de la Liga Nacional.
